Spending Christmas at Disney this year for the first time. We have an early breakfast at the Boardwalk on Christmas eve. I think it might be faster after breakfast to leave the car there and walk over to Epcot. Is this ok or will it be a problem?

No, they won't let you leave your car there and go into the park. If you have a reservation, they will let you park but there is a limit (maybe 2 or 3 hours?)--hopefully someone else can chime in with the exact limit.

You can only park your car for 3 hours with a dining reservation. The parking at the Epcot resorts is already small for the people staying there. It’s possible with it being Christmas that they won’t have room for your car and you’ll have to valet

No, it is not officially "ok". On a slow day you might get away with it. On Christmas Eve, probably not.

Some guests feel justified leaving their cars at the resort all day if they use valet parking.

If it we're me, I'd probably park at Hollywood Studios and walk or take the boat to the Boardwalk.

Valet it and you can keep it there all day.

If you self park you have 3 hours. Sometimes enforced sometimes not. I would not risk it.

Parking will be very tight anyways so I would valet for sure if you do this.

Because Valet or moving the car after breakfast are the two options, the OP’s question has been answered.
