parking at ashford

We leave on friday to go to DLP but we're not sure how the parking at the railway station at ashford international works? could someone explain if it is similar to airport style parking? are all the car parks the same price?

Basically you take a ticket from the machine as you enter the car park & then you pay at machines in the terminal before you leave. The car park is very secure & security are 'on the ball'. The first time we went it took a while to get all the souvenirs & kids squeezed into the car, but because we'd been a while a security guard arrived to check everything was ok & also brought a 'jump start' pack just incase the car wouldn't start

Carrying on with the Ashford train theme. We are catching the "Disney Special" on Xmas Eve to DLP and wondered how busy it will be and how much time do we need to arrive, park and check in etc?

we too are going from ashford on 23rd dec, we know from prevously it will be very busy !!, the trains from ashfrod not only go to disney but paris, brussels etc....so the car park will be extra busy but we are getting a lift so we dont have to worry about parking this year

i would say get there earlier than you would expect to, the car park was very busy with holiday makers last year.

A lot of the Paris & Brussels services are moving to Ebbsfleet station & soon if I recall correctly, no Paris service is going to go from Ashford.

They are still going to run from Ashford for a while but the plan is to eventually move all Paris routes to Ebbsfleet. Unless the people at Ashford manage to stop it from happening.
