Ok...would I be able to do the following........I am staying offsite @ vac. club resort, could I drive to GF or CR park and take the monorail to MK? I basically need to know if they'd let me park for the day? I'd like to catch breakfast @ one of those resorts and ride the monorail from there since my brother will be coming for the first time and has never rode it. TIA!! :earsgirl:

If you have a dining reservation, they will let you in and most likely give you a 3 hour permit. They do not allow parking all day. They have been known to tow cars over the limit when the lot is full. The people paying to stay there deserve to be able to find a parking space. You could have breakfast and ride the monorail but you then need to move the car. Or you could just park at the TTC (Magic Kingdom parking lot) and take the monorail to the resort you are having breakfast at.

Definetly park at the TTC, and then take the monorail to the resort in which you are having breakfast.

I think if you pay the $7 or so to valet park you can leave your car at the resort all day. :sunny:

And you have to pay the $9 parking fee to get past the gate to the resort if you aren't a resort guest... so the valet parking actually costs about $16 plus a tip.

(And at the GF when I stayed there it was next to impossible to get a valet to take your car and it took a VERY long time for the car to be brought back around.. pack a snack! However, after your long wait the valet will have his hand extended for the tip....)

Oh...Thanks I didn't realise that. I have read on here that there is no time limit for valet parking? Does that apply to guesta staying in a DW hotel ? :confused3

Iam planning on a Wishes cruise , leaving from the Contempory at 8.30pm. I was going to valet park at the contempory at about 4pm and walk into the MK. I would then be dropped off by the cruise at about 9.30pm :cheer2:
Will I not be able to do this?? Iam off site that week but the week earlier I will be at WL .

You get the time limit even for valet.

Must be during the peak season. In 20+ times during off peak, I've never had a time limit on valet parking---at any resort. :thumbsup2
