Parking and Magic Band Question

We will be visiting Disneyland in April staying at the Disneyland Hotel. We are DVC members but staying on cash, will we be charged for parking at the hotel?

Also, how will our Magic Bands work the same at DL as they do at WDW (probably a dumb question but just want to be sure)

You will be charged for parking.

Only Magicband+ is compatible, not earlier versions.
It can be used for: park entry, lightning lates, photo pass, and has some flashing light features
Cannot be used for: room entry, payment, discounts

Someone posted that they paid cash but told the front desk they were DVC members and were not charged for parking. Someone else said they tried it and were charged. It doesn't hurt to ask.

MB+ at Disneyland also do not automatically detect your ride photos. For those, you need to take a picture of the photo as you exit the ride. Enter the code into your app and the ride photo will appear.
