We have also seen 2 times where people were allowed to go down the loop the wrong way because it was easier to back in from that angle and have someone hold traffic on the other end. Denise
The one thing about backing remember SLOW is better. Also steer with you hand at the bottom of our wheel. We use cell phones on speaker phone works good. I also always get the kids out of the truck and sit them down when it tight.
Is this your first time towing? Or just first time with a new, possibly larger camper?
As previously posted, find a big empty parking lot and practice backing. Where I am, Walmart won't work, it is always crowded! lol School parking lots on weekends sometimes are great places to practice.
Also, one bit of advice I always recommend to help people towing, learn to use your side mirrors. Use your side mirrors all the time to get used to them. Not only when towing or when driving your tow vehicle. In your truck or daily driver, angle the center windshield mirror out of the way, and use your side mirrors. Avoid looking over your shoulder (In some states, like CT [if the inspector is in a bad mood, lol], you can fail your commercial driver's liscense test if you look over your shoulder). Learn what you can see using the side mirrors.
