We Have 10 day parkhoppers. I have read that when you get to disney you can pay for them to upgrade the tix to non expiring, is this true? If so, do you have to do it before you use the tix? I was thinking that we may not use every day so at the end of my trip if I have days left can I upgrade then??? How much does it cost?

You can upgrade them at any point. I am not sure of the cost, but believe it is based on the number of days originally on the ticket, not how many are left.

Here is a link about the cost of adding a Non Expiring option.

You can do this at any time before you leave. You pay based on the original ticket. So if you buy a 10 day ticket the non expiring amount would be 143.78 per ticket to make it non expiring. Hope that helps!

The non-expiring isn't really worth it if its just a day or two on long tickets because

- you pay based on the total # of days on ticket.. not days left
- you pay a pretty high price compared to the cost per day

At the 6+ day mark.. you are paying like 3-5 bucks per day to add a day to the ticket.. so you aren't paying much per day.. but to add non-expiring starts at like $16 PER DAY.

So buy alot of days.. if you don't use them.. oh well... you are out 5-15 bucks. Vs paying $100+ and maybe getting to use them.

Plus later you can't really combine tickets.. so you can't use your non-expired days to help build you up to a future better ticket. So if you have 2 days left.. you can't just add 8 more days to that and later get a 10 day ticket. You'd use the 2 day ticket.. and buy a 8 day ticket. Compare the cost of that 2 day non-expired ticket to simply adding 2 more days to your new 8 day ticket.. its just not worth it.

The non-expiring is only worth it for short stay tickets (people looking to use 1 or 2 days in the future)
