Parkhopper in February??

I have a trip Jan 31thru Feb 6. My package has PH attached,. Although I have not paid the full balance. Removing the PH more or less get the trip paid for. Tried searching for an answer for it's reinstatement. Being available on future packages, I added ot in hope. Not overly confident by Feb it will be back.

Did I miss any new current information, that search function could not find?

No need to have the Hopper option in advance.
If they are allowing it during your trip, you can add it back if you want it.

This is what we're doing. We have the hoppers for our late Jan 2021 trip. I really don't see a scenario where we get to use them - they pretty much make the reservation system irrelevant. But I'd rather have them and not be able to use them (get a refund), than not have them and find out they're usable but then they sell out or something. With the way this year has gone, I'm not leaving anything to chance

Just have never been in February. Being from New England I don't think the weather will be an issue.

I was just looking at tickets online and it will let me buy PH tickets after March 31,2021. So not sure if that means that is when PH will be allowed or not.

I also purchased a PH ticket for my cousin's trip in Feb too - my thought is if they don't allow them by then I'll just get a refund of the amount....

I'm hoping they offer PH by them - I would like to think that even though the Park reservation system will still be in place, maybe you'll be able to make 2 park reservations if you have PH tickets....maybe you have to pick like a park #1 (like reserve @ MK) and then I'll hop to park #2 (and then reserve at Epcot after 12noon??)

Who knows - but honestly for that trip I'm not planning for PHs to be available BUT it would be nice since they'll available in 2021 to have that announcement made prior to booking ADRs 60 days in advance....

so for January trips that would be in early November....

Any word on those of us that bought our tickets through UT? I plan to stop by guest services our first day there in late Nov to get a refund as UT couldn't issue one without cancelling the original tickets which would have disconnected them from park reservations which would be bad.

These rules are not affected by from whom you bought your tickets.

I’d add it if available rather than purchase and have to wait on a refund. Just bc disney is selling it doesn’t mean it will be available.

No I’d leave PH off and add it if it’s an option when you get to WDW. Just need to add it before your first park day tickets used at guest services.

It is not a requirement to add upgrades BEFORE a ticket is used.
An upgrade can be added at any time up to as late as close of business on the same day that a ticket's last asset is used.

You’re right. I just meant you wouldn’t want to add a hopper after you’ve already visited parks since then it’s a total waste of money. Can’t see any real benefit to paying for a hopper for the last day of your visit if it’s a multi-day ticket.

You can buy park hoppers as of 1/1/21. But you’ve been able to do that since the parks reopened in July. That doesn’t mean that is the date park hopping will return. No one knows when park hopping will return but I highly doubt it will be before the summer.

You can certainly ask at the resort concierge desk.

I do prefer to be able to park hop multiple times, but there can certainly be a situation where a guest decides that (even on her last day) she finds she wants to hop to another park.
Just know that IS permitted with a ticket upgrade.

You can find some guests choosing to visit a pool with the temperatures at least in mid-50's, or so, with sunny skies and non-windy conditions.

As a fellow New Englander who usually goes in Feb., we often swim. Sometimes we are the only ones in the pool
