So I'm going for my first time in 10 years and my fiance's first time ever in May. I have only stayed off site before this trip and never ate at or visited any resorts (first trip was a band trip and we just jumped from park to park, second was with parents highly budgeted....only park hopped). I am starting to feel a great deal of anxiety over how am I going to get to the right resort at the right time on the right bus.....etc.... Is it really hard to figure out?? Also, we are flying down and not planning on renting a car so we will soley have WDW transportation

If you stay onsite transportation from any resort to any of the parks is a non issue. Just go to the bus stop / terminal and wait (less than 20 min) for a bus to arrive that is going to the theme park of your choice.

Some resorts have other moides of transport too such as a monorial or boat trip.

Transportation in Disney has always been easy and simple with all our visits.

If you are staying outside Disney then you need to find out from your hotel what is best way. Some have shuttles / busses and other you must organise your own taxi etc.

You'll do great!:thumbsup2

It is very easy. Just go down to the bus stop. When in question as the people in the "purple pants" (bus drivers)... The busses will be clearly marked where they are going.

At some of the resorts bus stops there are seperate lines for "Magic Kingdom",etc.

Have a magical trip:wizard:

It is very easy I promise. As someone else said the buses are marked. Also if you need to get to another resort and aren't sure how or where the buses are asked. We did that several times and all the CMs were great help.

One of your questions was about getting to a resort for dinner. If traveling from a park do as suggested above:thumbsup2 If you are going from resort to resort you could either take a bus at the bus stop to any park and then at the park go to the bus stop for the resort you are dining at or take a taxi. Sometimes it's much quicker and not too expensive to take a taxi. One thing to note is the proximity of park and resort you are going to. For example if you are staying at one of the AllStars it wouldn't be a great idea to bus to MK and to AKL to eat at Boma or Jiko. Much better to wait for an AK bus and then bus to AKL. Disney recommends always going thru DTD. Usually not a great idea.....Have gone to the World many times and tried to make this simple:confused3 If you have any questions feel free to ask!

Thank you all very much for all of your responses!! I am feeling much better about this, I think there will be only one day that we will need to go from our resort (POFQ) to another (Poly). From what I have read, I'm thinking we should take a bus to MK, then monorail to Poly. It is one that is on the loop right??

Thanks again!

When you get to MK, you can take either monorail. If you take the express monorail, you get off at the TTC and then it's a very short walk to the Poly. If you get on the resort monorail, it's the third stop from the MK. First stop is the Contemporary, second stop is the TTC and the third stop is the Poly.

You can also take the ferry to the TTC and walk to the Poly or take the resort launch. That goes from the MK to the Grand Floridian and then to the Poly.

Any way you go, I would give yourself an hour. That way you won't be rushed and you will give yourself some leeway incase you need to wait for something.
