Park to Restaurant help

First, on Wednesday of our trip next week we have breakfast reservations at 8:15 at Chef Mickey's and then plan to go to Epcot for the day. We are staying at POP. What should I plan for transportation? Will buses run early enough if parks open at 9:00? Will a bus go from our hotel to the Contemporary or do we just go to Magic Kingdom and walk over? Then should we plan to take the monorail after breakfast to Epcot?

Second, on Friday we are going to Animal Kingdom and then to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness. Do we just stay at AK and take the bus to Ft W from there? How should I plan to get back to our hotel after the show?

Yes, the first bus from Pop to MK will be sometime between 6:30 & 7:00. You would take the bus to the MK, and then take the Monorail to CR. When you board the bus to MK, tell the driver that you are going to CR for breakfast; they may or may not offer to drop you directly at CR, depending on where the bus going after MK and how busy things are. You should be at the bus stop at Pop by 7am.

If your family is walkers, you can skip the monorail and just walk from MK to CR; it's about a half mile, or 10 minutes.

After breakfast, take the monorail to TTC and transfer to the Epcot monorail.

Second, on Friday we are going to Animal Kingdom and then to the Hoop Dee Doo Revue at Fort Wilderness. Do we just stay at AK and take the bus to Ft W from there? How should I plan to get back to our hotel after the show?

You'll take the bus from AK to FtW, and then transfer to the campground's internal shuttle bus. At the campground, you can board any bus marked "Settlement". Allow at least 90 minutes; it probably won't take that long, but you don't want to be late for HDD.

After the dinner show, if MK is still open, the easiest thing is to take the boat to MK, and then the bus to Pop. The boat dock is an easy walk from HDD. If the show lets out after MK has closed, there should be special buses from Pioneer Hall to the resorts. The restaurant cast will provide directions.

And then there's my way....I much prefer arriving at FtW by boat...so I would take the bus, from AK, to the CR. Then, take the boat over to FtW...just walk up the path and Pioneer Hall is right there.

That's a good option, too. Or, you could take the bus to MK and get the boat there, which would be preferable if there's a wheelchair or stroller involved, as sometimes they run boats on the CR-FtW route that are non-accessible, requiring a couple of steps down into the boat. I don't recall whether strollers can be left unfolded on the larger boats that run from MK, but at least you don't have to haul them down and up the steps.
