park to park ticket? base ticket? help!!!!!

We are going to the universal studio on 12/29 & 12/30. DH and DD actually arrive a day earlier and they can also go 12/28. so, it is great that they can take advantage of the buy 2 get the 3rd day free ticket.

My question is should we get the base tickets or the park to park tickets? My friends said don't bother but i am not sure since it is in late December.

What is the consensus out there? Thanks,

Stick with the base tickets since it's going to be mobbed at both parks. I doubt you'll be able to do much hopping during that week. If you wanted to upgrade to park to park, you may do so at Guest Services.
