I was hoping to rope drop animal Kingdom Wednesday and by 8:30-8:45 hop a bus to magic Kingdom.

Can anyone confirm if busses go between parks that early? If not, is my best bet an uber!?

Unfortunately no. Disney park to park transportation does not begin until 10AM. You could take a bus to a monorail resort and then walk/take the monorail from there if you wish.

Take the bus to the Grand Floridian, from there it’s just one stop on the monorail with the added benefit of going thru security at the Grand Floridian monorail, then straight in to the Magic Kingdom. Of course you might just get on the first resort bus you see. Then take a bus from that resort instead of waiting for The Grand Floridian bus.

Unless something has changed recently, park-to-park buses start running at 10 a.m. So, yes, Uber/Lyft is your best bet.

If I were doing this, I'd take a resort bus from DAK to either the Contemporary or GF and then walk or monorail to MK from there.

BTW, Uber will drop you at the TTC, so you'll still have to get to MK from there.

ETA: I was posting simultaneously with the above posters!

If money is no object you could get a Minnie Van and it will drop you off right at the entrance to MK (only the regular Lyft/Uber vehicles have to go to the TTC).
