Park tix on KTTW card?

Hello,
We just arrived at WDW this afternoon. We checked in at AKV Kidani Village and then set off for Epcot. We had trouble entering the park. Guest relations said there were no park tix loaded onto our KTTW cards. In my past DVC trips, everything has always been loaded on the card upon check-in. Has something changed? It was a stressful beginning to my vacation, with 3 newbies in tow. Thanks

Did you purchase your tickets when you checked in? Or did you pre-pay for them before your arrival (you should have been sent physical tickets if you did it this way unless you decided to do will call).

If you did not do one of the above, the price of the accommodations do not include tickets just your villa.

If you purchase your tickets at check in but they were not there when you tried to get into Epcot; there must have been a 'mess up' at the front desk. You would know if you bought them then because they have you sign a receipt.

I made my reservation at AKV 11 months ago. I bought my park tix and DDP in May. The DDP was indicated on my card, but tix were not. My previous stays (both cash and DVC) had everything on the card when I checked in. Thanks for the input. We are having fun at F&W!

DVC does not automatically add the tickets, you have to request it. DVC doesn't do "packages" with tickets included. They are only automatically added to your KTTW if you have a package.

I agree with this. I never heard of anyone with a DVC stay with tickets on the card when they arrived. Normally you either buy them at the resort desk or if you order through DVC I thought you got a will call # to get your tickets at the park.
