park tickets through Virgin

Booked whole package through Virgin. Hotel reservation is linked to MDE but have been told by virgin that park ticket ref won't be available to me until around 60 days out. I'm ok with that as I can't book fast pass+ until then. However I was wondering if anyone had managed to get their refs before 60 days out and were they sent to you, automatically linked or did you have to request them?

Yes we have the same question. To be honest it really doesn't feel like Virgin and disney are that joined up.
I'm going to get on to Virgin 70 days out and push it a bit.

Virgin told me I didn't need links until 60 days out but I wasn't comfortable with that at all in case it failed and lost the onsite advantage. They were pretty rubbish.

Then I messages the virgin concierge in orlando and they sorted it in a day. Virgin don't know the in s and outs of disney very well

I have spoken to virgin in UK and concierge in Orlando who have both told me to wait until 60 days out. Like you I'm not happy about this as I want to be up and booking fast pass+ at 60 days out.

thats wierd I'm sure i got the reference at 180 days - when i did ADR's or just before a day or so.

I know all my tickets just appeared in MDE.

Not sure if this just coincidence or pixie dust but paid off the outstanding balance on our holiday (not due for another month)
and suddenly our park tickets have appeared on MDE Woohoo we're going 'home'

We got our hotel linked with Virgin at around 200 days out and then park tickets linked about 70 days out.

We have booked for 18months time with Virgin Holidays and our travel agent has said we can get the 12 digit booking ref number for linking MDE in about 4-6 months time. We got ours last time at around the same time. They all seem to vary a heck of a lot???
