Park Tickets and Guides

Do you keep them or throw them away?

We save all of ours from every trip.

There are carrier bags upstairs full of all sorts of treasures including a few serviettes and receipts! Most of them will go into our photo albums.

I admit it...I keep a lot of that stuff. Tickets, park maps, etc.

I have Disney bags full of maps, tickets, napkins ect.. I also keep a lot of receipts from restaurants and stores.
I like to look back to see how much we spent at certain places, especially if we are planning to eat at a place we've already been. It helps me to set a budget.
My husband is surprised that I can budget the trip within a few dollars. I think it's fun, and now kind of a challenge each trip to see how close I can get the budget to what we actually spend.
A little crazy , but it's another thing to help keep me busy with Disney planning until our next trip, so I don't go completely mental waiting for time to pass!!

I must admit that we only keep them as souvenirs/memories but good for you if they come in useful in this way!

See you come from Brighton - I used to go there quite frequently when I was growing up. I was very brave one year and threw loads of Disney bags out - we still have lots as we always seem to buy goodies on every trip!

I keep everything! Tickets, plastic shopping bags, park maps, etc... They are great to use in scrapbooks.

I keep one of each of the park maps (at least), our passes, a fastpass if we don't use it, and a few other odds and ins like the Mickey coasters in the room, a napkin or two, etc. They are all in my scrapbook.....I don't glue them in so I can pull them out and look at them if I want to! I even kept most of our receipts in my passporter (some of them are not so fun to look at cause they were so pricey!!!!!! ) So I would say I don't keep EVERYTHING, but almost!

We put maps and tickets in our trip albums, they make a great covers.

My DD and I collect things while we are in the parks. We even kept some confetti from the table at Tony's. When we get home, we take out our park maps and other "treasures", and I give my daughter a scrapbook. She loves pasting everything into her book. It is a nice memory which she makes for herself.

Well, I've never been to WDW and who knows when I will get to go again. So, I imagine I will be keeping everything that I can!

I can't bear to throw out all the park maps we've collected over the years. I will keep one from each park from each visit for the scrapbook but the rest I've been making into origami paper cranes.
There is an an ancient Japanese tale that says if you make 1000 paper cranes your most desired wish will come true. I can get 4 paper cranes out of each map, so far I've made about 100! Our wish is to strike it rich and be able to live at Disney World for 1 year. Wouldn't that be great? We figured that we'd switch hotels every month or two and stay in the best room at each deluxe resort! ...
If you think about that for a while on a gloomy day I guarentee you'll be smiling soon!

We have kept on our tickets for a scrapbook - park guides we have kept one of each park

We have been to WDW so often lately, we do not even need the park guides anymore
