Park Ticket vs Party Ticket

Our only slated day at MK will be our party day (10/9). My original plan was to RD MK, have brunch at Chef Mickeys, back to Pop for a refresh then back to MK at 4ish for the party.

Would it be worth dropping the park ticket and only coming in for the party? This would save us the cost of a 4th day park ticket. What attractions are closed during the party that we would miss out on by not coming in that morning?

You can enter at 4 with your park ticket so if you were only planning to be in MK for a couple hours prior to brunch, I would just do the party. You can still do brunch at Chef Mickeys or use it as a sleep in/pool day and do lunch at Chef Mickeys then walk over to MK.

Can you enter at 4pm with a park or party ticket?

It's a $75 difference from 3 day to 4 day. I'd keep it. MK is a family favorite and there's always so much to see and do. We can never experience all the attractions as well as enjoy the special party experiences on the same night.

That's what I told my husband, I would stay at MK from RD until the end of the party myself - but not sure DS7 can hang all day and I know DH wouldn't make it! =)

No way! All day is way too long, even for an adult.

I would RD then head out by noon. Take a nap. Seriously! The heat will get to you. Refresh, have a big lunch then head back to the park.

You can accomplish a lot in the early am and during the fireworks. My kids road Buzz 5x during MNSSHP fireworks. The ride was empty! They ran thru. However, missed the fireworks!

You can't use the 4th day ticket the day after the party?

I am always trying to save a buck where I can BUT I think the original plan (like you outlined above) makes the most sense. DH has no interest in the party, so he will get to enjoy MK for a few morning hours then have the evening off.

The day after the party is slated to be our rest day - sleep in, Disney Springs & T-Rex for dinner.
