We are going to WDW this October. We are doing the dining plan and MS let me purchase it for my 2.5 year old DS. The boy can eat!! I purchased our park tickets online and have them in hand :cool1: ! When we check in can I have our park tickets added to our Key to the World cards? And if I add our park tickets to the Key to the World will they make me purchase a park ticket for my 2 year old since he is on the dining plan? I really don't want to pay for a park ticket for him since he's not 3. If it comes down to it I'll take him off the DDP. I'm sure it will be cheaper to feed him than to buy a park ticket. Thanks for any help.

You can transfer the park tickets to your room key, as long as the ticket has not been used. Partially used tickets can not be transferred to room keys. Do this at the concierge desk in your hotel lobby. They will not make you purchase a ticket for your child under 3 years of age.

That's great MS let you purchase the DDP for your DS. When we went in 2006 my DS was 2 and although I wanted to purchase it for him since he loves to eat, they wouldn't let me. Now we did have a few buffets as part of our ADR's on that trip so that helped since we didn't need to pay OOP for him at those meals. But all those CS lunches and a few TS meals added up. They say the kids under 3 can eat from our plates, but that would have meant getting a kid friendly adult meal to share with him. I cook enough kid friendly meals at home that we can all share and enjoy going to Disney to try something new for myself!

Chuck S is correct on not needing a park ticket. Just tell them at the park gates that he's under 3 and you're all set.

Thanks Chuck. The tickets are brandy spankin' new and haven't been used yet so I'll switch them to our room key at check-in. Thanks for the information.
