We are arriving on Saturday Sept 25. We Leave late on Sept 29. My current park Strategy is below. Please let me know your thoughts. I'm wondering if doing EPCOT on a Sunday during Food & Wine is a good idea.

-- We are staying at Beach Club.
-- We have Park Hopper tickets. (Hoping Park hopper is wide open by Sept. Assuming only after 2pm for now)
-- We will be arriving early on Saturday as we are transferring from Universal Royal Pacific Resort early in the morning.
-- We will get a 3/4 day in on the 29th. We'll use Magical Express from BC. 8pm flights
  • Sat Sept 25 - Magic Kingdom (mama's favorite park)
  • Sun Sept 26 - EPCOT
  • Mon Sept 27 - Hollywood Studios
  • Tues Sept 28 - Animal Kingdom
  • Wed Sept 29 - Magic Kingdom
Should we move EPCOT to Monday and Animal Kingdom to Sunday, thinking EPCOT (Food & Wine) and Studios (Star Wars) will be busy on the weekends ?

Any other considerations we should make? We will likely liberally use the park hopper hit EPCOT for Food and Wine kiosks for dinner most evenings.

TIA for your thoughts and help. Love the varied insights and ideas we get from DisBoarders.

Do you need a day for EPCOT if you are going to be hopping there multiple times. It doesn’t open until 11 anyway. I’d increase ROTR chances by having another day there.

I agree. We’re staying 5 days next month and don’t have a morning at Epcot at all. It’s hard wrapping my brain around not having a day scheduled at Epcot other than hopping, but not opening until 11 makes it a waste to do it. As you suggest, we’re giving ourselves more chances at ROTR.

Good thoughts all. Thanks. Thinking we'll do Animal Kingdom on Sunday. That would make the sequence....

Sat....MK
Sun...AK
Mon...HS
Tues...MK (again)
Wed...HS (again)

We'll use hopper afternoons to hit EPCOT on two or more days.

I would make your second HS day Tuesday, since you fly out Wednesday night, which could make a late BG is too late.

That still might be the best plan but the good thing about HS on Wed for them is that BC is their resort and IF they are people who make the walk instead of the boat / skyliner they would ideally know the exact time they need to leave instead of the leaving the MK which requires them to assume there won't be a bus right away and leave way earlier to be safe.
