Hey folks.

Saw that PS was a great deal especially for Canadians in an earlier thread.

Looked at PS .com (US) and also PS .ca (Canada) and the US tickets with the current conversion were a better deal.

5 day PH with Water was $385 US = $510 CAD at PS .com (using CAD at March 26 values)

5 day PH with Water was $550 CAD at PS .ca

Am I missing something?

Probably not ... with the flux of the CAD lately its best to just grab what you can when you see it. We were at the Disney store on the other side of the border this week. Tshirt we wanted, was 9.95 USD or 10.35 CAD .... we snagged it in CAD :P

Actually now that I think of it I should have asked what they were selling gift cards for ...

Wow that's great.

The CAD is heading back up so it might be more advantageous to wait this out as we are not travelling until March 2017.

Still: several people indicated that park savers had a good conversion for Canadians.... Did they just update it on the .ca site recently?

The dollar is headed up for now, but it's far too early to get that optimistic. They're still expecting it to drop again this year, though, it *should* be hovering around the current mark by next year. That said, the election in November has the potential to be a huge game changer for the US/Canadian dollar. If Trump wins (and let's face it, strong likelihood of that for better or worse), US dollar is going to plummet, at least initially, which should help our dollar, and would be a prime time to stock up on US cash or pay off vacations.

Hmmm hard to say. I heard a Repub delegate (admittedly a Jeb man) tell a Dem delegate that they had it in the bag regardless. I tend to believe this, but that is not for me to comment on as a Canadian, but it is interesting to speculate on the monetary repercussions of either Candidate. Some could say that Hillary's spending could also represent a downgrade of the USD, who knows.

At any rate the price of oil can't go lower and as it gently rises so will the CAD. The question really is what will the USD/CAD do AGAINST each other for this conversation. Most analysts tend to lump them together for their prospectus and they are all bullish on both, but if the USD rises along with CAD it is a moot point for this question.

At any rate...... Who can say whether PS .ca had changed their prices???

Also: Yay for Splash Mountain.... love that ride.

I saw the same thread and didn't get it either. We bought tickets from parksavers last month and it was cheaper for us to use the .com web site and pay in U.S. funds than to use the .ca web site and pay in Canadian (even with the exchange).

Hmm, I wonder what was up then??? Maybe the poster thought that there wouldn't be a conversion from the USD prices..... wishful thinking.
