Park Reservations...how to questions

Okay, so I have my six maximum park reservations in place.
1. How do I get to the calendar to see availability? I may wan to switch my reservation but I don't want to release unless I know it's open for desired date.
2. Same for switching starting park. I want to switch starter park. How can I alter without releasing the reservation?
3. I have a park reservation but Hubster doesn't. His info is on my Disney account since we mostly go together. Site seems to black date as unavailable (gray slash) if you have a reservation. Is there a way to get his a reservation without leaving my account?
4. Is there any way to view availability calendar without the gray slashes (my reservations)? What if we want to invite friends? How do we know if they can get their own reservations?
5. It doesn't allow me to open up the calendar without logging in. How does one see the calendar before buying tickets?

6. Am I doing something wrong?

You have articulated a number of issues with their current set-up, specifically the fact that it “slashes” your date so you can’t see if the other park is open or if there’s availability for your husband. It’s a flaw.

You can’t switch parks without releasing your reservation. So that’s a gamble.

It sounds like it may be better to create a Disney account for you and one for your husband, and link Magic Key to only that person's account. That would allow you to book reservations and then log into his account to see what's still open, etc. using his Magic Key.

I know it's a lot of log in / log out, but it may be best option. You'd still have to log out even if one account to look at calendar without slashes over your current res dates.

(Although of course this brings up another issue of Boarding Group timing if tickets aren't on same account.... but if you don't use BG's it's not a big deal.)
