Park Reservations & Hopping

I need to wait until the last minute before I buy tickets and make parc reservations. What is the likelihood that both MK and HS will be booked on January 4th? I'm thinking if MK is fully booked I can always reserve for HS and hop to MK at 14h00? Ty

Hard to tell at this point. Nobody knows what park capacity will be at that time.
while currently, no park has been at capacity, it is possible that MK could be at capacity an d you would not be able to hop.
If this were to occur, I suspect it will be the week of the 50th or the week between Christmas and New Years.

Obviously no one knows for sure, but I would assume that January 4th will have a pretty big drop-off compared to the previous week as most kids start back to school on the 2nd or 3rd.

We are coming in the day before (3rd) and just switched our reservations around due to EE closing on the 4th. Originally I had nothing on our arrival day and AK on the 4th, (we have hoppers) but since we will have a newbie with us, we wanted to get her on EE, and now have MK on the 4th. So that’s our insight.

Right now Touring plans has all parks at a 10 that day, with only Epcot as still a 9.
