Park reservations for a newly turned 3 year old with an AP

We booked a trip at the cabins in May. Our ds turns 3 at the end of April so we will be buying him an AP. I’m making my and dh’s park reservations right now. How do I make sure ds has the same park reservations if his pass won’t be active until we get there?

You can buy the AP now, link it to your DS in MDE and make park reservations on the pass. It doesn't have to be active in order for you to make reservations on it.
