Park question for Dec. 4-10

We're planning a Christmas "I'm Five Years Cancer Free Trip" for the week of Dec. 4. I don't mean to start a whole Pop Warner debate here--just have a question. I read in another post that MGM closed early at least one night last year for the Pop Warner group. Are there any other closings related to PW that I need to be aware of or will they just affect MGM for a night?

And here's to hoping there's no impact on our value resort stay (although that might be wishful thinking!).

December hours won't be out until around October 1, but here is a look at the historical hours for the last few years so you can get an idea.

Usually, it is the last friday evening of Pop Week that they close MGM. We were there last year on the night they closed early, and until about 1/2 hr before closing it was pretty quiet. We were there the entire Pop Warner week and that was the only thing we noticed. The parks were not crowded and all of the kids we encountered were very well behaved. We stayed at AKL because I heard about the kids taking over the All Star resorts, so I can't say how bad the crowds and noise are going to be for you.
