Park purchased merchandise

I bougt a pair of sweats at WDW that are too big. Does anyone know if I can exchange them for something at a Disney store at the mall?

Years ago you were able to return park items at the store but they have stopped that. You might want to call to verify though. They also stopped the Disney online returns at the store too

They do the online Disney Store exchanges at a mall Disney Store. Just did one on Wednesday.

Returns or exchanges can be made in any US Disney Store location, excluding Personalized Items, Art, Collectibles, Disney Parks merchandise, Mirrors, Electronics, and Indoor and Outdoor Furniture. All returns must have the original packing slip/receipt with the merchandise to be returned or exchanged

to OP you can see they exclude Disney Parks merchandise.

They must have started the online purchase returns back up. I purchased a Pooh Crib bedding set July 2013 and couldn't return at store it had to be sent back. Shipping was way to expensive so I just kept it. My daughter didn't want it for the baby's room.

They need to start park retuns pack up too especially since you can order some park merchandise online now

Two years ago, I purchased some Mickey lighting online and returned it to our local store. At first they told me they couldn't/wouldn't accept it because it had to be something they carried in the store. I insisted, as that 'was not' what was in writing, so they 'reluctantly' accepted it. I was going to escalate them if they hadn't taken it back.

They never have taken park merchandise returns though.

The stores used to take park returns, years ago. It was stopped many years ago. And I think they still exclude items from the Parks section of the online site. You can call the parks for assistance though, the number should be on your receipt.

Not all products...

I bought DD a cinderella castle online, tried to return it because it was broken, they wouldn't take the return. I ended up mailing it back and getting a refund, took 6 weeks before my card was credited...

Yes they did take park returns, years ago. I use to work there when they did.
