Park Passes

Have been seeing a lot about finger printing at the parks when you go in and today heard about a finger scan, but I'm not sure what this is. Do you not scan your pass when you go through the entrance gate any more? Is it used for readmittance only? Haven't encountered this yet. Also, just wondering, are they still searching all bags when you enter?

You still enter your pass into the ticket reader, but then you place your index finger on a finger scanner - I think to help ensure that your pass is used for you and only you.
