Park passes in the mail??

I've heard several people talk about their excitement when the park passes arrive in the mail. I'm confused because my TA said we would get ours at the resort. Are the people receiving them in the mail staying offsite?? Thanks!!

It depends on how the tickets were added. If they were part of a package meaning your balance was due 45 days prior, you will get your tickets when you check in. If the tickets were added to a resort-only reservation, then you will get your tickets at check-in. If your tickets were ordered seperately, then you will receive them in the mail prior to leaving if that option was selected; your TA could have had them left for you to pickup after arriving, but you can't do this at your resort (you have to do this at one of the guest services in the parks or DTD).

Many people are ordering discount tickets from mapleleaftickets, ticketmainia, orlandofuntickets, etc.

There are some reputable ticket brokers on the internet that offer slight discounts that can add up for a family.

These are delivered in the mail, and are often used by people with room only or off site reservations to save a little more.

Sorry to hijack, but have had the same question. I will call my TA when I return home, but wonder what others experience has been.

We ordered our tix as part of a MMW package. Should I expect them through the mail or should I expect to have to pick them up on site? My TA did say we should receive paper work by the end of December '05 at the latest, but was not specific as to what was included in said "paper work."

We went through AAA and got a 1 day ticket for each of us, put on our room so we could get the meal plan but two in our party have SAP's so they really did not need tickets.

We plan on one person using the room key tickets and for the other two of us, I ordered 10 day passes through TicketMania.

Therefore we got tickets in the mail, today in fact, and we will get the tickets that were ordered through AAA when we check in to our resort and from what we have been told they will be programed into our resort room keys.

Package tickets will be encoded on your room key when you check-in at your resort, your dining plan (if you got that option) will also be encoded.
