Park Opening Procedures for Offsite guests?

First time being offsite and wondering how park opening procedures are working for offsite guests at rope drop. Are you allowed in the parks with early entry but just cannot enter lands that are open for early entry or are you held outside at all four parks until normal opening time?

It is a little different for each park. I know for Magic Kingdom, they typically let everyone into the park early, but hold off-site guests in the hub.

MK - held at hub
AK - held at right side of split after tapstiles
HW - held to the right of ticket booths after security but before tapstiles
EP - can only comment on International Gateway where you are held at bridge crossing to France

Epcot last Sunday we were allowed in at the main gate, but held back at the fountain in front of Spaceship Earth. To the right side was the early entry entrance.

The people who play the garbage cans (Monday morning I am blanking) came out to play for the people waiting.
