park lockers

Okay, just wondered how much the park lockers were, what change do they take, where do I find them and how big are they?
Could you get a change of clothes for a whole family of 5 in to 1 or am I going to need 2 lockers?

I don't remember how much they cost. I do remember that there were small lockers and bigger lockers. I also remember that we, as major, shop till you drop and don't look back type people were able to stuff an entire day's worth of souvineer bags into one of the bigger lockers. So I expect that if you pack the clothes lightly, yes you could get a change of clothes for everyone in there.

Someone else can probably give you the current locker cost, but I remember when we first started using the lockers in the late 80s they were something like 50 cents. Then on one trip the next year we went to get a locker and it was something like $5, you get a dollar or two back if you return the key. I know prices go up but that was a shock, nothing gradual like Park ticket price increases.

The lockers at MK were $7, but you can get $2 back when you return the key at the end of the day!

As I recall, that 50¢ allowed you to open the locker once. Every time you wanted to open it, you were required to pay another 50¢.

That's what I enjoy about the heftier price now. $7 gets you access for the ENTIRE day.

And, that $7 covers you for ALL 4 of the parks for the day. Start at Magic Kingdom, hop to Animal Kingdom, show your receipt, and you get another locker. You will still have to pay the key deposit though.

So where do I get a key?

There are Kiosks located near the lockers in front of the MK. They are actually under the train station. $7 ...$2 back when key is returned. They are very large....we stored a back pack and 2 Halloween Costumes and shoes...plus all the stuff we bought after we picked it up from package pick up.
