Probably not until about first of November.

But that should not stop you from planning. Use history as a guide - "Historical DLR Park Hours, Entertainment and Refurbs" - www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2291124

Most likely at a minimum you will have nightly Christmas fireworks and parades, Fantasmic on weekends and, if Sept/Oct is a guide, nightly showings of World of Color. Aladdin is back and will likely show 4-5 days a week as it always has. Over Thanksgiving week (TG in the US always falls on the the 4th Thursday of Nov) hours and entertainment will be maxed out. Also for the days leading up to Christmas and thru New Years everything will be maxed out.

HTH :wizard:

Disneyland isn't Disney World. Even without schedules, the park hours during Christmas are simple...

Disneyland will be open 8AM-Midnight daily; DCA will be 10AM to 11PM daily.

There might be some discrepencies in the opening times (once a week DL might open at 9AM), but that's pretty much a sure bet for the two week Christmas holiday. On the shoulders, the parks will typically close and open one hour earlier, except FrSaSu, which are pretty much the same 8AM-Midnight year-round.

thanks!
will go on last years hours - we will be there 12/26-12/30 so nice to know we gets LOTS of park time!!! will plan assuming WOC is nightly

is there a place to see when the parade and shows were last year too??? I can only see historical hours ( I know that is what Ifirst asked about...but now I need more!!)

Good Luck! I am used to WDW planning too. Make ADRs, figure the plan, and confirm everything with one phone call a week before trip. DL tortures you by posting hours one day at a time and then changes its mind every few hours. I am less than 20 days out and still trying to incorporate Aladdin on the spreadsheet. First it was going to be 10/17 and 10/19. Checked again only going to be on 10/18 only. Checked first thing this am moved to 10/15 only. Checked a couple of minutes ago back to 10/18 only. I wish they would just make their minds up.

I can only get the calendar to go back to Jan 2010 - when I hit previous month at that pooint it goes to Dec 2010....

guess I will just have to wait until November...thanks anyway

To see 2009's Entertainment, click on the link to the webaddress HydroGuy provided and then go to your address bar and manually change the 2010 to 2009. December 2009's entertainment should then show up. I don't know if it's a glitch that takes you from January 2010 and jumps you ahead to December 2010 or if they are assuming people wouldn't be interested in looking at last year's "old" information and, therefore, have it set for just one calendar year.
