Park hours

I was wondering about extra park hours. When you go on the disney web site and check the different park hours, it tells you if that particular park has extended hours. Are the extended hours included in the times posted or do you get to stay 1 hour later than the posted time? (Or if in the morn, come 1 hour earlier than the posted time?) If not it doesn't seem that anything is extended. Thanks.

The times posted on the WDW website are the regular park hours. Morning EMH would be 1 hour prior to the posted time and evening EMH would go as late as 3 hours (not just one) past the closing time that is posted.

The regular hours are posted on the website since there are a considerable number of offsite guests who cannot take advantage of EMH. Posting the park hours and including the EMH opening/closing times would be confusing for them.
