DH and I are planning a trip to DL for the week after Thanksgiving (Nov 24 thru Dec 1). We're WDW vets and used to planning everything 6 months in advance... I was looking for park hours on WDW Info, and they're only available a month out with some projected hours for our trip. For Nov. 27 thru the 30th, it shows hours of 10 am to 6 pm. Can any veterans out there tell me if this is accurate? It doesn't seem like a very long time to be open... not even late enough for fireworks.

9 am - 8 pm was correct for last year...though part of me thought it was 10-8...but my brain doesn't function as well as it should. ;) I was really worried, but found once we got there, the crowds were so nice and manageable that we were able to fit in everything that we wanted to do. We loved that time of year so much that we're doing it again this year!!! Have a wonderful time!!!

I kind of like the later openings. Especially the 10am opening (9am for Early Entry), because I can get an 8am ressie at a Hotel Character breakfast and not miss any of the valuable morning ride time.

First off, I just have to say that I adore your username! You'll have to be sure to check out the Phineas & Ferb dance party at DCA, it is so much fun!

Even with the shorter hours, you will be able to get a ton of stuff done. The crowds are awesome that time of year. We always have a short touring plan for the morning, maybe our top 3 or 4 rides, and then we are pretty much able to play it by ear for the rest of the day. Obviously things like Cars Land will still be mobbed, but if you plan for that early, you should be able to see and do plenty by the time the park closes. I actually really like that, because I'm a commando who stays from opening to closing. The shorter hours force me to go back to the hotel and get some sleep ;) And I feel much more rested the next day, so I can do it all over again!

Thanks! We definitely will be going to the dance party. We have a 5 year-old daughter who loves to dance and loves P&F almost as much as I do!;)

Thank you for the link to last year's info, 3Minnies1Mickey. It's really helpful and should give us a good place to start.
