Park Hours for Jan. still not posted?

I was told by several CMs when calling disney to check Nov. 1 for park hours for Jan. They are still not posted on disney's site . I called and spoke w/ another CM today and was told to check back on Dec. 1. How are you supposed to make PS reservations and plan in general when you don't know when the park is closing that day. I wanted to making some PS reservations around the nighttime fireworks and around the nighttime parades so as not to miss them. Most PS reservations can be made 90 days in advance so why doesn't Disney post their park hours 90 days in advance?

I have found that the calendars are usually posted sometime during the first week, 2 months in advance. So the calendar for January 2005 should be posted any day now. Just keep checking.

I am beyond the time when I can make my 90-day PS's and am in the same boat in terms of waiting for park hours. Just keep checking I guess!!!!

Using the above link you can put in dates of your upcoming vacation. What is then displayed are "Unofficial/Projected" Park Hours if the "Official" are not out yet. These "Unofficial" hours are based on what WDW did in previous years and are very useful in giving you a "Best Guess" at planning your upcoming vacation.

Once I know the "Projected" park hours, I make the following "Best Guess" assumptions at when the parades and/or fireworks occur:

Wishes occurs @ park closing.
Share A Dream Come True generally occurs 3:00pm.
Spectromatic occurs 1hr prior to park closing when MK closes early and 3hrs prior to park closing when MK closes @ 11:00pm.
Illuminations occurs @ park closing.
S&MC occurs @ 3:30pm.
Fantasmic occurs 1hr prior to park closing.
Jammin Jungle Parade occurs @ 4:00pm.

The above is generally true for "Off Season" times and when the parks close early.

I then use this info to make my PS's and other plans 90 days or further when I can. This way I can be assured of getting all the times that I want when I want.

Unfortunately this doesn't really help too much for those of us who are going the very first week in January. I've gone that week 3 times now, and I find that the park hours may vary alot depending on projected back to school, day NYE falls on, etc. However, until we get the actual hours from Disney, this is something to check. Thanks!

I am going the first week of January.

If the parks happen to be open later than the "Unofficial" hours indicate, then that is just gravy. By making the conservative assumption that the "Unofficial" hours are correct and that the parks will be closing early, I am almost assured that my PS times will not conflict with any parades or fireworks. I will just have a larger margin to parades/fireworks if the parks stay open later.

Trust me. This will work.
