Park hours during HHN

Hello, does anyone know what time do the parks opens and close when HHN is going on? We're going on Oct 18-21...

Opening times should be the normal 9am.With HHN at Universal it will likely close at 5pm with Islands of Adventure probably closing at 7- 8pm or so,maybe 9 on weekends.

IOA isn't affected by HHN but the Studios will close at 5pm each day you're visiting. IOA usually closes around 7pm during HHN but might be open until 8pm...it depends on the crowds.

If you plan to attend HHN stay inside Universal in the Stay and Scream area where you will be let out earlier than the regular HHN opening times so you can do some of the houses that will open early.

like Metro stated, ioa closes at 7pm on the calendar and the studios at 5pm on hhn nights.

non hhn nights, studios usually have the calendar time as 6 pm.


only on a few occassions have i been there during hhn period where ioa extended the closing hours to 8pm.

Indeed. HHN separate ticket event, just like MNSSHP. However, this event is not suitable for children under 13. You are unable to enter the park at an earlier time either.

If you are in the park, the day of the event, you can buy a Stay and Scream ticket at a lower price than a regular ticket.

Thanks. I would love to take a mommy & daddy trip in late September just for this. Might try to talk DH into that.

When can I start looking for dates & ticket prices? We will be there in late August already, but if we decide to do this, I need to keep my eyes on airfare prices

You can purchase them online but you must have your theme park tickets in hand before you can do it ahead of time. S & S discounts apply only to those who have already purchased their park tickets.
