I am having fun starting to make plans for my November 2-5 trip. I looked at the unofficial 2017 hours and noticed that DL was closing early on Thursday and Friday of my visit. I figured they were based on last years schedule but when I looked at the actual closing hours for both DL and DCA in 2016 I see that the parks were open later. I am wondering how these hours are predicted as they differ from last year even on the same day. Thanks.

Disney has private events and will sometimes close parks or lands even after the hours have been published.

Thanks SMD. I realize this, but I am not talking about the actual hours as they haven't been published yet by Disney for November. I am talking about the predicted closing hours on the Disboards calendar being shorter than the actual hours from last year. This is where I am confused.

Tom @ImTooExcitedToSleep can jump in here but it is my understanding that the hours on DISBoards 2+ months out (i.e., for November ) are meaningless. They are place holders until actual hours are published.

That makes sense. I'll use the hours from last year for more of a guesstimate of what times the parks will be opening and closing for my visit. Thanks HydroGuy!!
