OK, I have been looking for hopping advice. When we were there ages ago, you could get on the monorail and go straight to Epcot, or a bus to go to MGM.

I just read that you can't hop from one park to another? Is this true?

Whatever is true, please tell me the best way to hop from"

MK to Epcot

MGM to MK

MK to MGM

and any other tips you have

I think it just felt like you went directly from MK to Epcot. You always had to change from the MK/TTC monorail to the Epcot/TTC monorail. So, to get from MK to Epcot, you take the monorail to the TTC, then switch to the Epcot monorail.
From MK, you can take the buses to any of the resorts.
I believe you can get buses at the TTC that go to the various other parks.

To the best of my knowledge the previous poster is correct. You must go to the TTC first and can get a bus, or monorail for Epcot, to any other park. There is one direct connection between Epcot and The Studio. You can get a boat at the International Gate at Epcot to The Studio. I'm not exactly sure where the boat docks at The Studio, but you can take it in either direction. Epcot to Studio or Studio to Epcot.

i recently read on these boards that there are buses that go from park to park... hop over to the transportation board and ask, i am sure someone (possibly even tyler, wearer of the purple pants!) will respond w/the absolute correct info!

You can hop from park to park as long as you have a park hopper pass of some kind instead of just a 1 day/1 park ticket.

I like taking the monorail from MK to Epcot. You do have to switch monorails at the TTC, but it's very quick and easier than taking the bus. Also lots more fun.

I think from MGM, the bus will take you to the TTC. It is possible to boat or walk to the Boardwalk or Swan and catch a direct Bus to MK, but that will take a little longer. If you want to spend some time on the Boardwalk, that would be a good option though. It also is possible that you could hop on a bus to the Contemporary at MGM, then monorail over to MK. I would probably just get on whichever Bus comes first.

From MK to MGM, I would take the monorail to TTC, then the bus to MGM. It is possible to take the boat to TTC, but that seems to take longer.
