Park Hopping...FP+ in Afternoon??

Since I haven't been there since FP+ started...what are the thoughts on park hopping? I'm thinking save the FP+ reservations for the park you'll be in during the afternoon/evening? We usually *try* to get to the first park at rope drop or close to it, so I figure our best chances of lower standby times will be then. (Mid-November). Thoughts?

We were there over Christmas week. We used our FP+ allotment in the afternoon park for our big park hopping day. Worked great! Got to enjoy the headliners with minimal wait in the second park. Fun!

We did MK first, then EPCOT, then AK, then back to MK. We also did a short break back at POFQ before the trip back to MK. Love those late hours at the parks!

Yes, best strategy is to use FP+ in the second park.
