So we are hopping from Epcot to Hollywood Studios one day. We are doing DHS another morning and doing FPs there that day so we are doing FPs for Epcot that morning. We're mainly planning on shows at DHS so not relying on ride FPs but of course they would be nice. Our arrival evening we're doing Epcot for evening EMH (we're staying at the Swan and I figure it will be an easy arrival evening). We have FP for FEA that evening and will do Soarin' at the end of the night. So we have a FP for Test Track on the morning in question--we're planning on EMH rope dropping FEA and making it up to Soarin' about the time of regular rope drop.
My question is with regards to the tier two FPs. We have TT at 10, Character Spot at 11 and Seas at 9. We're leaving Epcot at around noon (after lunch) and arriving at DHS somewhere between right after that and 3:00 depending on whether we decide to go back to the hotel for pool or nap time or not. So the Seas FP doesn't really get us anything, it's just kind of there. The Character Spot saves us a bit of time but more by fitting it into the plan where it works better for the amount of walking.
Should I eliminate one or both of these FPs? My understanding is that if I eliminate one I would be able to book a tier one FP in DHS as soon as we tap in at TT around 10. If we eliminate both of them I think I could book both a tier one and a tier two at DHs at around 10. First off is this true? and second, is it what other people would suggest?
Any suggestions or ways to think about it would be appreciated.
