Hi all,

Just curious if anyone has noticed a drastic uptick in attendance at EPCOT since park hopping was re-introduced at the beginning of the year? We are going in early May and have 3 day park hopper tickets, with the plan being to do the other 3 parks and end each night at EPCOT (staying at The Boardwalk!). So, is the park a lot busier in afternoons now that park hopping is allowed?

Yes, it is noticeably busier in the late afternoon and evening than it was prior to hopping returning. Still not like a normal evening prior to COVID, but when you used to be able to walk around WS at 7pm with maybe 10 other people in your sight lines in September or October, you definitely notice the difference now.

Makes sense. With the shorter park hours you are really stuck with DS and EPCOT as the two places to go out to eat. DHS closes at a funny time - 8 is too late to head back and make dinner or even get to DS for that matter. The 7p MK closure is almost as bad. DS is a REAL pain to get to with the limited bus capacity. EPCOT is much easier, especially from DHS. Can I also assume that DHS clears out later in the PM?

I assumed it would be busier, glad to hear its still not overwhelming like it was pre-COVID at some points. We haven't been to the Flower and Garden Festival before so excited to spend some time there regardless of how busy!
