Park Hopping And Magic Your Way Tickets

I'm not planning on park hopping a huge amount on my trip, maybe two or three times.

While it costs about $30 to add the park hopper option on to your ticket, it's an extra $3 to add an extra day. If I was just to add a few extra days onto my ticket, would this be acceptable?

For example, if I was to go to MK in the morning and then Epcot in the afternoon, would that just use two days from my pass?

Not if it's on the same day? You can park hop as much as you want in 1 day.

No, you couldn't do that.

Disney's computers aren'ts set up in that way. If your ticket doesn't have park hopping, the computer doesn't have the capability to just take another day off your ticket.

The only way to do what you're suggesting, is buy several one day base tickets.

But if you're going to do that, the $35 is WAY cheaper to park hop.

Having said that....we never stay in 1 park. 90% of the time we end up in Epcot at night.....Hmmmm..I wonder if the Rose & Crown has anything to do with this?

As SnackyStacky already posted, Disney will not allow you to use two (or more) days off the same ticket on the same day. If the OP wants to hop at all, he'll have to pay to add the feature to the entire ticket.

Disney has this one figured out. Who would ever buy park hoppers if you could just add more days at a few $ extra and basically use them as park hoppers? The computers are set up so that once a non-park hopping ticket is used in one park, you are not allowed into another one. It won't just take off another day.
