I am getting to make my ADRs next Saturday, hurrah, but I have found such valuable information from all the seasoned DISers that I am asking for your advice. Always in the past, I have seldomly hopped from park to park and have never considered EMH and have never coincidential happened to be in the EMH park so I have two questions:

1. The restaurants that we have chosen are mostly concentrated in Epcot and different resorts but I don't want to waste a lot of time in travel, I guess that's why we haven't park hopped too much in the past, so should I try to arrange for ADRs in the park without hopping or not?

2. Are the EMHs really worth being in that park for that event, I've seen mixed reviews so far.

We're going August 18th (Friday) through August 24th (AM, Thursday)

If EMH are in the morning, yes they are definitely worth it. But Evening hours, no. It just gets too crowded for my taste. We did Epcot's evening EMH, we had the same wait times as when the park was opened.
Here's a list of what's open during morning and evening.

Yes, I think morning EMH are well worth it. All the touring plans say to stay away from a EMH park. I think thats if you want to spend the day there. US, we do EMH Parks (except MGM b/c DD is too small for anything open EMH), and hit everything we can up until lunch. Then we usually do lunch at THAT park. OR a lake breakfast. Then we break at our resort for a bit.. THEN off to a non EMH part for the rest of the day.

If you plan it well EMH can be a VERY good move. And about your ADRs. If you can plan it that you are in Epcot for the evening, do a meal there. If you want breakfast there (Norway) then I'd do it on the Epcot EMH day, and schedule it for a late breakfast. Good luck with your ADRs
