Park hopping and dining reservations

We have park hoppers and plan to spend the first part of our days in one park, take a hotel break (Disneyland Hotel), then park hop to a different park in the evening for dinner.

Does my park reservation have to match the park where I make my dinner reservation? For example, on a day we plan to do DCA in the morning and make that our park reservation, will I be unable to make an evening dining reservation at Blue Bayou? Undercover T seems to say so.

I’m retreading the article I was looking at and I think I misunderstood. Looks like I can indeed book a park reservation at one park and dinner dining at the second park.

Correct. With the hopper access, can make reservations either park for after 1pm times.
