Hi, our family is travelling to WDW next Saturday. We are 5 adults (the youngest a boy aged 17) and a nine year old girl and we are in Orlando for 6 whole days. We would like to dedicate 4 days to making the best out of WDW.
I've read up on websites, bought the WDW Passporter 2006 book (which is great) but I'm still undecided as to whether we should do one park a day or chop and change to make it more interesting (i.e AM one park, rest and them PM another park). Basically because of the lack of time I don’t want to find we get too tired. We are staying at the Pop Century and will use WDW transportation. Some of us have been to WDW before but not my youngest aged 9. Would appreciate some advice. Thanks.

You might want to make that decision once you get there. For example, if you go to MK and decide that it's just a bit too crowded for you, or you've done all the rides/shows/parades you want to do there, you might decide to head over to another park for the afternoon. We will be doing some park-hopping this time because we are going to try hitting the morning EE parks and then head over to another park later. Hope this helps! :smooth:

You can add the park hopper option within 14 days (I think) of first use, so you can decide down there (like Mom2DS said).

Personally, I love to park hop because I get a burst of energy just by switching parks. Also, if there's something you really enjoyed that you want to do again later in the vacation (or something that you missed), park hopping makes it possible without "wasting" a park ticket.

I agree with Mom2DS. We just got back and some days we stayed at one park all day and other days we park hopped -- in fact one day we were actually at 3 different parks.

We always hop. If you're anything like me, you might get a little bit antsy staying at one park all day (particularly if it's really crowded). If this is what you decide to do, be sure you make Magic Kingdom an AM park. It's a nightmare in the afternoon.

For us it was worth it to parkhop. We just got back this weekend and with the dining plan I had ressies at one park but we would go to another park for the day. Also, to see the fireworks at night we would park hop to go to the shows that we did not see. Have a great time.

We are going for the first time in January and we decided on getting park hoppers because we just couldn't decide what to do. We thought this way it will be more open to us and we wouldn't feel 'stuck' at one park.

Don't know if that helps or not....

Last Friday we did all four parks!! :bounce: Got FPs for certain rides, jumped in the car and off we'd go to another park. The resting time was when we were in the car so we didn't get too tired.

We usually would do at least 2 parks in a day so for us Park Hoppers definetly were the way to go.

We were 5 adults, our youngest DS being 17. :)
