I can get a 7 day mywwpfm pass for 384 from my work or just a plain 7 day pass for 303. Normally just my wife and myself go to the parks and get the hoppers but this year we feel the kids are just old enough to enjoy disney. They will be days shy of 3 and 15 months when we go. So they won't need tickets but we will.

Those that have gone with young kids is it worth getting the hopper pass?

Where are you staying? At that age, if your kids are like ours, they will likely need a nap and some downtime in the middle of the day. We like to go to one park in the morning and early afternoon and then come back to hotel for nap. Later we go to Epcot for dinner. Thus, we usa get hoppers. If you think your kids can either a) sleep in strollers in the middle of chaos or b) will be able to power through the afternoon without napping then maybe a single park per day would work. I guess you could also go back to the same park as the morning. We personally just enjoy the atmosphere at EPCOT in the evenings.

Absolutely. With young kids you'll be up early, and then probably back to the room for naptime (unless you get the double wide stroller and your kids will sleep in it). Rarely have we done 1 park all in a day. We usually take a break and then switch. We tend to get FP+ for later times at one park, and take advantage of magic hours and shorter lines at park openings. But everyone is different. You could still do that with 1 park a day. Ride what you can in the morning, take a break in the afternoon, and have FP+ for the evening.

More than likely will be staying at either okw or ssr. SSR is our home resort but would like to go to okw for the bigger room and cheaper points.

The PH are a must for us. Like a PP said we head to eat dinner somewhere else.

:offtopic:I LOVE:love::love::love: the rooms at OKW!! So much room to spread out and such a relaxing resort. Love the peninsular Rd villas (building 27). Close to the first bus stop makes for easy boarding in the morning and a quick drop off at night. Also close to the Main buildings :)

IMO the hopper pass isn't necessary, just plan different parks on different days. Moving from park to park takes time that could used more affectively.

As DVC owners you will be coming back year after year, so what's the rush?

I like the hoppers for the dinner option, something to do after an early DAK close, and find it invaluable for the "wild card" day at the end (repeating favorites, or getting to a "must do" that was out of order the 1st time)

Here's my abbreviated version of what I've posted in these threads tens of times.

I can't imagine being stuck in one park all day. It is not uncommon for us to visit 2 or even 3 parks in a day. Busy? Go somewhere else. Contrary to the opinion above, I get park hoppers (in the interest of full disclosure, APs) because I'm going back many times, God willing. I want to enjoy the experience to its fullest each and every time. Being able to roam freely contributes greatly to my family's ability to do just that.

Alrighty so went ahead and got DVC ap's for my wife and I. Never ordered them before. They asked for an address so they can ship something and it's estimated date is before March 4th. They don't ship the ap bands that quickly do they?

How many days are you going? The numbers you quoted are for wwpfm versus regular tickets. You know wwpfm is more than just park hopper right? My 2yr LOVED blizzard beach. And when DH took my 5yr on the family raft ride, there was a family with an 18m old!

You have to order/confirm your AP bands before they ship. We never got ours, the system didn't work...but we have enough MB from room stays.

Also if you go again on your AP, your oldest would need tickets. Might be better off getting the 7day tickets for the next trip, then get AP for all 3 of you after that.

Yes they do, and/or it might be the exchange certificates.

Must be the exchange certificate then. Never was asked to customize any bands.
