Ready to go for trip 5 with the kids. This time, it has to be low, low budget. We will be traveling with friends who were given a free stay at the Boardwalk Villas for five days. My family, can not afford to stay there with them so we were looking at CBR. I would love to take advantage FP but we have to travel Nov 9-13th. I think the cheapest way I have seen is to book everything seperate. I have never done this before (usually just book a package with ultimate park hopper). My question is about how the park hopper 5 day ticket works. Unlimited use of all 4 theme parks? As many parks as many times per day as desired? Don't think in November we will be using the waterparks so I opted not to go with Park Hopper Plus. We are all comming from Pa, so no residents discounts....can anyone tell me the cheapest route to take here? Dreams Unlimited, Expedia or myself directly through Disney? Any codes or discounts out there that I could use???
Thanks in advance. BTW, never been to CBR.

The park hopper five day: five days of AK, MK, MGM, and Epcot, as many entries and exits per day as you and the tribe can stand.

As for the CBR, your best bet for codes, etc is www.mousesavers.com, a site devoted to keeping up with current available codes. Too bad, you just missed the Fall Fantasy Package. That may have been your best bet.

I'm also from PA (Central). When you say "cheapest way to get there," I'm assuming you mean air? Because if you're driving, although I've tried many different ways, there is sadly no better and cheaper route than to get on 95 in DC and just bomb it down to Jacksonville.

What part of PA are you from? I'd highly suggest considering flying Airtran out of Baltimore (at BWI). Parking in long-term will cost you about fifty bucks for the week, and Airtran tends to have the best rates I've seen. If you're closer to Philly or Pittsburgh and don't want a 3 hour drive before and after flying, go US Air. Check out their web site (www.usairways.com) and when you check flight prices, don't choose dates, but "choose by price." Make them tell you what's cheapest, then see if you can fit their dates into your dates.

Actually, I just checked Airtan and BWI and Philly are about the same price per leg, Pit is cheaper by ten bucks a leg. Go figure. As for US Air, they don't go out that far right now (to November), but they appear to have a good rate for earlier dates out of Philly ($150 RT), but they're insisting you fly out Saturday to get that rate. Sunday departure will kill ya...

You could wait until after June 29 to see what special Disney has (that is last day for booking Fairy Tale) At least Nov is low season! I booked everything separate with our last trip in 2000 but with Fairytale it looks like we're going package route this time.

Hold off on buying your tickets, though. You never know, the Fairy Tale Package or some other really good package could come along. There are some disappointed folks out there now because they decided to purchase their tickets real early so now they can't take advantage of the FTP (unless they set the PHs aside for a future trip).

Thanks for the advice...it kills that I can't use the fantasy package but like they say..easy come easy go. I am from West Chester, Pa. Close to Phila. By cheapest route, I meant, should I do this all myself or use Dreams Unlimited?

There are two other airports to try as well. There is an airport in Allentown and one in Atlantic City. Now for the life of me I can't remember the names of the airlines that fly out of there. Sometimes they are reasonable. Also be sure to check not only the airline's site, but check travelocity, Expedia etc. I just booked Philly to MCO for Thanksgiving and the prices were all over the place and some selling faster than I could book them. Remember though that not all airlines can be booked through Expedia or Orbitz etc.
