In 2012 we got the park hopper and never hopped... This time I didn't add it, but wondering if I'll regret it. This time we are staying at BC. Last time was POR... Thoughts? Think it's like $350 to add it. Will I regret? We seem to be the types to do a park straight w no rest and be done for day by dinner time. But, wonder if since we are staying so close to epcot during F&W...

For food/wine? I would. In fact I am! :hyper: Staying at Beach Club and I plan to end quite a few nights in Epcot wandering through food/wine. :) It's just so easy from there.

Staying at BC I absolutely would. I am staying there for the first time this year but I plan on using Epcot like a food court and going to another park but having dinner at Epcot or grabbing some breakfast there or just hitting up illuminations at the end of the day. And of course F&W

I looked at our 'schedule' and I don't see when we'd find the time to hop except for one day (DHS day). Day 1- MK, dinner at DTD Day 2- MK, bfast at MK and dinner DTD Day 3- going to universal and dinner at BC Day 4- Epcot lunch at Epcot Day 5- DHS, lunch at DHS Day 6- whatever park we want to return to and then leave...

I wouldn't and personally haven't the last 3 times that we visited. We are also one park all day long not to mention I am too cheap. I would at the very least wait and then if you decide when there one evening that you need it add it then. It's never too late the only thing is it will remain the same price it will not go down in price based on a lower amount of days.

See how your trip goes. If you want to add it, you can do it at any time for the same price. Don't spend the money until you know you want it.

Thanks! Didn't know that was an option!

It's hard to add it now that the vacation is fully paid for... Lol I am going to add an extra day of tix in case we change our mind on universal... We only have 5 now.

As long as you have not used all of your days you can add any of the options or extra days. Deleting (refunding) options and days are another story and most likely never able to do. Just like any business they are always willing to take more money from anyone that wants to give it! ;)

I will just say we have had hoppers on the last 6 of our 7 family trips! :thumbsup2

We hop almost every day, frequently into Epcot for dinner and the evening. We also love eve. emh so hop for that. Last trip a few weeks ago we hopped from Epcot to AK to ride EE when there was no wait late in the afternoon.

We have stayed BWI, BC, S/D for 5 of our 7 trips. We stayed Poly once when our kids were really little and didn't hop, we stayed at CSR once and hopping was a bit more effort. But the Epcot area resorts are great for hopping to Epcot and HS.

Good luck and enjoy your trip. :)

We leave in 16 days and have 8 day tickets with NO hopping privileges. Hopping always seems to take way more time than I want out of the parks. We did add the waterparks option as we plan to hit those for 2 days.

Have a great trip!

Well this is easy, on Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 5 and Day 6 you can have dinner in Epcot. I only stayed at the BC so I could have dinner in Epcot almost every night. :thumbsup2 Why go to DTD when you could be at the World Showcase and then have a leisurely stroll back to your room? :confused3 Certainly after DHS you could hop over for dinner on the boat.

My kids (ages 7,9, and 11) love TRex and raglan road so we are going to DTD for that... And we are doing universal so wanted to do Beaches and cream... If we have a TS lunch we won't eat a real dinner...

My kids are 7, 9, and 11 so love TRex and we really wanted to do raglan road at DTD... If we have a TS lunch we won't be hungry for a TS dinner usually. If it were just dh and I then I do think we'd be at Epcot for dinner nightly! So many I want to try!
Mexican, but I'm the only one that likes it. Lol

You will be right next to Epcot when you are at the BC. It will be a five minute walk into the World Showcase from there. You can run in every night to watch Illuminations from the bridge and hurry back to your room without any crowds. You can stop in for a meal. Since F&W will be going on, you can hit the food booths for snacks or catch the nightly concerts. With the new 4th fast pass you can go on some rides. You can ride the monorail from MK to Epcot, walk through Epcot, back to your room at the BC. We have stayed at the BC many times and love being able to walk into Epcot. You could wait until you get there to add the park hopper, if you want. But with Epcot right outside the resort, you may want to change your nighttime touring habits. :goodvibes

You could even wait until you arrive at the second theme park on a given day. Go to a ticket booth to add the hopping.

You can do this even if you used the last admission at the first theme park that day. It's not until the end of the day that the ticket whose last admission was used up goes dead.

And you can do it on the first day. Having entered the first park earlier correctly values the ticket at booth price that day so you pay just the booth price of the hopping component even if you bought the ticket at a discount.

The best part of staying at the BC is the ability to hop over to Epcot in 5 minutes! Change your plans, and hop.

I'm checking to see exactly how much it would be... Our plans are our plans as long as the weather cooperates... Lol thanks for responses!!
