I know there are those of you that go to DW frequently. Since this is my first time since 1982 when there was only the magic kingdom, is it worth it to purchase the park hopper pass or do most of you go to just one park a day? :confused3

If you are going for more then a few days yes it is nice to park hop. If go to a park in the morring and it has long line just leave and go to a other park and come back to that park later. In are case we do 4 Park a day we go in ride the ride we like and leave.

My children and I have annual passes so we can hop whenever we want. However, for our June trip we are taking my dad. He is almost 70 and will only be able to do a park either morning or night. So, for him, the hopping is not necessary. If money is an issue, I wouldn't add the hopper option. You can do fine without it. If you can afford the hopper option then add it. It certainly gives you some flexibility.

Park hoppers can be great as all the parks have different hours---for example when we were there at Xmas AK closed at 5pm ---we'd hop to another park like Epcot that was open later------

DH and I just had this very discussion recently, as we are about to get our passes for our trip this fall.....Definitely go with Hopping! Unless someone is only going for 2 or 3 days and knows exactly which parks they want to do (and needs to spend all day in each), I think Hopping is the way to go. Much greater flexibility! :goodvibes

My Family and I like the Hopper option becasue it allows us to do a park in the morning and early evening and then hop over to EPCOT for dinner which is most enjoyable, AND has very little crowds for rides during that time. :thumbsup2

We always get the hopper. Sometimes you get to a park that is very crowded (even though all of the planning you have done says it shouldn't be) so we just leave and go to another park.

I have to agree with the park hoppers, sometimes you get to a park and the lines are long because it is so crowded. It is nice to have the option of going to another park that is less crowded on that day. Also, we have found that often we do not use an entire day at AK, so we can go to another park in the late afternoon or evening.

In the past we have not hopped, thinking it was all too much for our kids when younger. However, this trip (just home yesterday), we did have hoppers and we did use them. We would go to one park and do our favourite stuff before it got too busy, take an afternoon break and supper at the camper at FW, then head to another park to enjoy other things and the evening fireworks etc. We had 2 weeks, and we did more of this the second week. It depends on the length of day you want to have and your touring style too I think.
