How come my park hopper has an expiration date on it. I thought park hoppers didn't expire?

I'm not totally sure, I didn't book the trip. But it came with a vacation package.

The back of the ticket says:

5 Day Park Hopper M.M.D. Package Guest
Standard w/1 Water Park or DisneyQuest

The "MMD" means "Magic Music Days" -- those are usually tickets for performing groups that come in and do a show at the parks. Special tour group packages like that generally have expiration dates. They're specially priced -- not the same as buying a regular Disney park hopper.

Ahhh.. ok I gotcha... makes sense.

(I was wondering why the trip was so freakin cheap; under $400 per person)
