Park hopper vs Park hopper plus?

Hello all- We are going to Disney World the end of this month with some friends who have a package deal that includes "Park hopper plus" passes for the four days we will be there. I have been searching all over, alot of helpful links on here also, for passes for me and my 14 yr. old son. My question is- If we get regular park hopper passes can we still use the monorail, boat to Pleasure Island , etc. or do we need "Hopper Plus" passes? Needless to say we are on a shoestring budget like everyone and if the "Plus " part is for a hat or t-shirt or something like that we would go with the regular one, but if it includes transportation in Disney we would need the "Plus" one.

The only difference between a Park Hopper(PH) and a Park Hopper Plus (PHP) is that with the PHP you get a set number of extra admissions included to some of the minor Disney parks - both water parks, Pleasure Island and Wide World of Sports.

The number of admissions to those places varies with the length of the PHP but in general, a 4 day will have one, 5 day two, 6 day three, and 7 day four.

Both passes will get you into the main theme parks and both allow you to use the transportation system.

4 day PHP passes only seem to be available through ticket brokers - not at the gate - you would be saaving some money to get them in advance through ticket mania or one of the other places if that is what you decide to go with. Hotwire savings club has them for $197 and most other places are in the $214 range. I think the Disney store price for a regular 4 day PH is around $204. Have a great trip!
