Park Hopper Question

For our first trip to WDW, we did not get hoppers, and did not miss anything.
For our second trip we did get hoppers and actually hopped and enjoyed it.

Both times were over Christmas and we were there for a week.

Now we are going again over Christmas and am trying to decide between hoppers or tickets MVMCP.

If we do not get hoppers, buy 5 day MYW tickets, and decide to add hoppers on day 3, how much will it cost? Will we have to add hoppers to the entire length of the tickets, even days that have passed? Or will it be a charge for just that day?

It will be the same price as if you bought them before hand even if you have already used days off of your ticket. I think it's an additional flat $69 pp?

Ah, that's right! I forgot that it was a flat fee upgrade and not by the day. Thanks!

We bought hoppers on our last trip, and while we used them, we wouldn't have missed them because DD was only 5 and likes her sleep early. We haven't purchased them for our next trip but will if we find ourselves wanting to hop.
