Park Hopper question

We usually never buy park hoppers since we schedule atleast one full day for each park... however, we are considering purchasing them this year.... but can't commit to price just yet... so, if we get to DW and decide to upgrade to a park hopper after we have already purchased the magic your way tickets... can we do that? And what if we have already used several days of our tickets .... can we still upgrade the remaining days? Thanks in advance!!

Yes, you can upgrade once you're there, even if you've already used several days worth of tickets. However, you're still going to pay the same amount, even if there's only one day left on your tickets. So really think about how many times you'll use the hoppers and whether it's worth the $59 (I think that's what it is now, anyway!) price X whatever number of tickets. If you're not sure beforehand, definitely wait until you're down there and see whether you need them or not.

Thank you so much for the information. Not sure what we will do.... trying to also figure out the FP+ system with park hoppers too. I wonder if it's 3 fp per day or 3 fp per park?

It is 3 per day and all in one park only. I called and had a long discussion with a DVC rep on that when we were working on it. Also cannot get FP in the park with the old ticket system, those are all gone. So everyone is limited to 3 per day and then done, so it makes it "fair" but for us Disney vets I'm worried the lines will still be crazy and now there is no way around them any more.

hmmm... so we still use Park Hopper as normal... but the FP rides have to be used in just one park... well.. maybe rides would be less crowded late at a EMH park... maybe.
