I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere, but I can't find it.

We will be at the world for 10 days. If I buy regular - non-hopper tickets, can I use two tickets on one day? ie MK in the morning and Epcot at night??

I'm guessing that we would have one non-park day during our trip, so I was wondering if I got a 10 day ticket, could I use the extra day on my ticket for 2 admissions on one day? Or do I need to get a hopper ticket??

TIA!!!

I'm pretty sure when I went, you needed hopper tickets to do that. I mean, I don't think there's a rule against using 2 in one day but it's a much better value if you get the hopper tickets...

Yes is you wish to visit two parks in one day you will need to use two tickets which is very expensive verses the hopper option. Plus who to stay that there isn't more that one occasion during your trip that you might want to visit to parks in one day therefore you would have to use two tickets again.
I would go for the hopper option.

As others have said you have to add the park hopper option to go to more than one park in a day.

You don't have a 10 days of tickets. You have a ticket good for 10 days visiting one park per day.

One way you can do it is if you go to one of the hard tickets.

You can not go to 2 different parks in the same day on the same ticket unless you have a hopper. Your ticket won't work.

Seems to be conflicting - but the PP seemed certain that I needed a hopper.

The reason I'm debating is that it is not cheaper for us to do the hopper. The cost difference between a 9 day ticket and a 10 day ticket is only $5 per person. But a hopper option is about $50 per person. So there is a bit of a cost difference.... since we are travelling with younger children, I don't think we will honestly hop that much, if at all. Only on 1 day, maybe. That's why I'd like to see if I could use the 10 day ticket and "waste" a day.

$1100 for tickets seems outrageous!, but $1400 seems worse!!! :scared1:

Just wondering/ hoping it was an option.

If you want to go to 2 theme parks in one day, you can either add the hopper option OR buy a separate 1-day ticket at the current rate for the second park. You 10 day ticket will not allow entry to a second park in the same day without the hopper.

Oh no, there isn't a question about it. You simply can not use 2 days on a multi-day ticket in one day.

What others were saying was that you could buy a seperate 1 day ticket and use that at a second park, but since it would cost over $75 it would be a complete waste of money.

The only way to hop is with a hopper. Sorry.

Oooooooh! ok! now I get it!! Thanks!

BTW I was trying to explain my question to DH who is a very wonderful guy and loves to do Disney - but hates to plan Disney. Anyhoo - he says, "buy the hopper, don't worry about it. I don't want to feel limited". Gotta love him!! :lovestruc

You can always add the hopper option once you're in Disney. No need to commit just yet.

a park hopper costs 50 bucks no matter how many days you have booked.

a one park pass for many days gets cheaper for each day you add.

Disney would lose much money by allowing people to buy a multi day pass then they would if they got the hopper option.

Yeah, can't use two tickets in one day, I know, we tried since we were told when we booked we could. That was the only time I've ever seen any Disney people grumpy!! It took us 15 min of arguing but they eventually let us in the second park but I'm sure it won't happen again!!! We' don't get the hopper, it's easy to spend the whole day in any one park, esp with little ones... I'm assuming by your pic!!

This question gets asked about 10 times a day on these boards,if you have a 10 day ticket it's just that 10 days,if you try to go into a second park on the same day the turnstiles will not open and the CM will basically tell you you need to purchase the hopper option. The hopper option is $52 if you hop on one day or all ten.
